Background
The animatronic witch is an animatronic version of the main antagonist of The Wizard of Oz, the Wicked Witch of the West. She was portrayed by actress, Margaret Hamilton. The Wicked Witch of the West has always been known to be a popular Halloween character and the most popular witch in pop culture. In the description above, the Wicked Witch of the East being referred to is the sister of the Wicked Witch of the West, who died in the beginning of The Wizard of Oz after being crushed by the house of the main protagonist, Dorothy Gale, thus resulting in the main conflict of the story.
