Art the Clown is a horror villain who appears in the three Terrifier movies. Art is a fan favorite evil clown in pop culture. Art is played by actor David Howard Thornton, who was chosen for the role due to his clown-like behavior and his ability to be both funny and scary.
Fictional character biography[]
Art the Clown is a serial killer wearing a black and white clown costume. He also wears a black hat, big black clown shoes, and has dirty teeth. Art carries a trash bag filled with weapons. The weapons he uses include a scalpel, hacksaw, clever, cat o' nine tails and many more. Art also uses a gun that he keeps in his shoe. Art often kills his victims in horrifically brutal ways such as sawing people in half, decapitating his victims and cutting people's scalps off. Art sometimes tortures his victims, such as covering flesh wounds in bleach and salt. While Art is capable of dying, even committing suicide, Art usually comes back to life after death, although he was unaware, he would come back after his suicide thanks to a demonic girl wearing his attire known simply as the little pale girl. Art commits killing sprees during the Halloween season, but he has done one massacre during the Christmas season as well, during which he adds a Santa Claus costume as a part of his clown attire. Art also carries a horn that he likes to honk.
In Terrifier, one of his victims named Victoria survived Arts massacre, but he eats her face, since Art has a tendency for eating human flesh sometimes. After being faceless for one year, Victoria becomes insane and starts killing people just like Art.
