The Captain Kirk costume is a popular costume from Star Trek, depicting Captain James Tiberius Kirk of the USS Enterprise, the second captain featured on the show, and easily the most famous. Although the character has had several outfits on the show, the costume found is usually the "goldshirt" version seen in the original series' episodes, or of the modern movies by J.J. Abrams. It is usually a boy's costume, though the uniform can be used by both genders to represent any number of Starfleet characters, including original characters.
