The Clown costume is a common costume that can easily be worn by anyone! The costume consists of a wig of varying colors, as well as vibrant and baggy "patchwork" clothing. Facepaint, a red foam nose, and comically large shoes are common accessories used as well.
In recent years, a common variation of this costume is the Scary Clown, with several specific scary clowns being featured among them such as Pennywise the Dancing Clown from Stephen King's It and Twisty the Clown from American Horror Story. Sexy Clown costumes also exist.
