Creepshow is a 1982 anthology horror film directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King, the film features five stories from a horror comic book.

- In Father's Day: a murdered man rises from the grave for Father's Day cake.
- In The Lonesome Death of Jordy Varrel: a man named Jordy (played by King himself) discovers a meteor, but ooze leaks from it, causing plants to grow everywhere, even on Jordy.
- In Something to Tide you Over: Harry and Becky are buried up to their necks at the beach, and die once the tide comes in, but when they come back from the dead, they seek revenge.
- In The Crate: When a mysterious crate containing a beast inside is discovered, it goes on a ravenous rampage, but instead of getting rid of it, Henry sees this situation as the perfect opportunity to get rid of his abusive wife Wilma.
- In They're Creeping up on You: Upson Pratt is a cruel millionaire, with an insect phobia, but fear gets the best of him, when his home is overrun by an army of cockroaches.
