Cult of Chucky is a 2017 American straight-to-video horror movie. It is the seventh film in the franchise which began with Child's Play in 1988. It was directed by Don Mancini, the creator of the franchise and the writer of all the films in the series. It stars Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany, and Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky. Cult of Chucky premiered on August 24, 2017 at the London FrightFest Film Festival. The film was released with an additional unrated version on DVD and Blu-ray on October 3, 2017.
Plot
The now grown up Andy Barclay returns home after having a bad date with his girlfriend Rachel. Andy is revealed to have the conscious and disturbed head of Chucky after being repeatedly tortured by Andy in retribution of his murders and crimes. Meanwhile, Nica Pierce has spent four years in an insane asylum after Chucky framed her for the murders of her family. More To be added.
