Dirt cups, also known as "dirt cake", "dirt pie", "mud and worms" and other similar names, is a Halloween dessert that often consists of layers of chocolate pudding and crushed chocolate cookies with gummy worms on top to mimic the effect of a cup of dirt with worms coming out of it. As its name implies, the dessert is often eaten in a plastic cup but may also be eaten in other containers.
