Plot[]
Horror movie hostess Elvira quits her job after being sexually harassed by the TV stations new owner. She then plans to start a show in Las Vegas, but her agent informs her that the project costs $50,000, which she can't afford. At an oddly perfect timing, Elvira learns that she has a beneficiary of her late great aunt Morgana Talbot, she then travels to Fallwell, Massachusetts to collect the inheritance, which includes a mansion, a poodle, and a cookbook.
When Elvira arrives in Fallwell, the towns people have an immediate dislike towards her because of her revealing clothes, though the teenagers take a liking towards her. At a local diner, Patty, the owner of the diner tries to insult Elvira, but a man named Bob defends her, and they become close.
Elvira goes to her new house and is already not a fan of it, she then gets a visit from her uncle Vincent Talbot, who offers $50 for the recipe book, however, the book was hidden by the poodle named Algonquin which Elvira gave a punk makeover to and has also renamed the dog Gonk. Unknown to Elvira, the cookbook is actually a spell book, and Vincent is an evil warlock who is after it.
The next day, the local teenagers help Elvira fix the house up, and later, she uses Bob's struggling movie theater business for her horror movie hostess show to make money. At the theater, she reviews classic B-movie Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, then puts on a dance show, which is unfortunately ruined by Patty. Later that night, Elvira invites Bob over, finds the book, and attempts to make a casserole with it, but it turns into a monster, so Elvira and Bob kill it by putting it down the garbage disposal. They go to the attic, and Elvira finds a letter from Morgana, saying that she is a witch and that Vincent must not get his hands on the spell book.
Elvira tries to get revenge on Patty by serving the casserole at a local picnic, however, the dish isn't a monster this time, but upon eating it, it makes everyone horny. Elvira then punches Patty in the face. Vincent then leads the townspeople to arrest Elvira for witchcraft, they then try to burn Elvira at the stake. Bob goes to the mansion to find the spell book, but is tied up by Vincent and his goons, luckily, Gonk is a familiar and transforms into a rat by chewing on the rope tied around Bobs hands setting him free. Elvira is tied up and fire is set, she uses Morgana's ring to summon a rainstorm to put the flames out.
Vincent in his warlock form chases Elvira back to her house, where he has a magical battle with Elvira. The ring Elvira wore accidently slips on Vincent's finger, however at the mansion, she manages to get it back by amputating his hand and Elvira uses the ring to banish Vincent to the underworld, while burning the mansion down in the process.
The next morning, Elvira and Bob are greeted by the townspeople, who apologize to Elvira for their behavior, and say she was the best thing that ever happened to their town and insists she stays. While Elvira is flattered, her house burned down, however, with Vincent gone, she has inherited his estate, and uses the money for her show in Las Vegas, where she has a musical number and dances with spider tassels on her breasts.
