Plot[]
Deena and Josh go to see C. Berman in order to learn how she survived the Camp Nightwing Massacre, so they can save Sam who is now possessed by the witches curse.
In July 1978 at Camp Nightwing, Camper Ziggy Berman is often bullied by the other campers, who tell her she's possessed by Sarah Fier. After almost burning her, Ziggy is saved by a young Nick Goode, who is a counselor at the camp. Ziggy's sister Cindy and her boyfriend Tommy Slater are also counselors at the camp. Ziggy and Cindy don't get along very well.
One day, Nurse Lane (the mother of Ruby Lane), tries to kill Tommy, and claims she saw his name on the witch's stone. Nurse Lane is later taken away.
Cindy convinces herself that Nurse Lane was on drugs and finds pills in her cabin. A girl named Alice, and her boyfriend Arnie take them, but Cindy wants to turn them in to the police. Cindy and Tommy follow them to a cave, and they find a place where the witch would perform rituals. Alice sees names on the wall, and she recognizes them as past killers, and sees Tommy's name on the wall. Tommy then becomes the Camp Nightwing killer (seen in the previous movie). He kills Arnie, and Cindy and Alice get caved in.
Back in camp, Ziggy and Nick pull a prank on Sheila, one of the girls that bullied Ziggy, and Ziggy and Nick grow close to each other.
Meanwhile, the Shadyside campers and the Sunnyvale campers are having a color war, but Tommy emerges into the camp and brutally murders many Shadyside campers. Consolers Nick and Gary try to find survivors and take them to the mess hall, and Ziggy goes back to find Sheila who is still trapped in the outhouse.
While in the tunnel, Cindy and Alice use Nurse Lane's diary about Sarah Fier as a map to navigate the red moss tunnel. They soon find a hole on the top and learn they're under the outhouse. Ziggy and Gary find them and try to pull Cindy and Alice up, but Tommy breaks in and decapitates Gary. Ziggy gets away luckily. Back in the tunnel, Alice finds a giant beating organ known as the Heart of Darkness. They learn that Sarah Fier cut off her hand, and the curse would end if they returned the hand to the body. They find her hand in the tunnels buried under the red moss.
Ziggy plans to lure Tommy to a cabin so she can kill him, this fails, luckily, Cindy and Alice find a way out and Cindy kills Tommy. This victory doesn't last long, and Tommy comes back to life and kills Alice. Cindy and Ziggy run away and try to find Sarah Fier's body since the tree at the camp is the same tree we're she was hanged. The Milkman killer, Ruby Lane, and Billy Barker emerge from the flesh in the tunnel and join Tommy.
When the girls dig under the tree, they only find a stone that says, The Witch Forever Lives! Then the killers surround the girls, and Cindy is murdered by Tommy, while Ziggy gets stabbed by the Milkman killer. Nick Goode finds Ziggy and brings her back to life with CPR. Ziggy tries to explain that Sarah Fier's curse caused this, but Nick and the cops don't believe her.
Back in 1994, Deena and Josh are shocked that C. Berman is actually Ziggy, and they inform her that they did find Sarah Fier's body. The Shadyside Mall was built were Camp Nightwing once was, and Deena finds the hand, and returns to the sight where the witch's body is, but when Deena returns the hand, she has a vision of Sarah Fier in 1666.
