Plot[]

Cappy Town (a town in Dream Land where the show takes place) holds a Halloween party called, "Spook Out". The event encourages the Cappies to walk into a spooky forest at night. The other Cappies and Chef Kawasaki are too afraid to go in, but Tiff, Tuff, and Kirby decide to go in the woods to prove that they aren't afraid.

While there, King Dedede and Escargoon try to scare everyone who attended the party. Escargoon dresses as a ghost. Dedede does this because he doesn't want to pay Holy Nightmare for a Demon Beast.

At first, Dedede and Escargoon succeed at scaring everyone else, including Tiff and Tuff, but Tiff realizes that Dedede is behind this after Kirby exposes Escargoon's cover. Kirby then scares Dedede and Escargoon off instead dressed as a Jack-o-lantern. Kirby and his friends make it out of the forest and into a cemetery, but then a storm approaches, forcing Kirby and his friends to take shelter in a haunted house, unaware that the house is haunted.

Kirby and Tiff get trapped inside the house, and Tuff goes to get help. He runs into Meta Knight, and they go to the house, but Meta Knight is unable to get inside. Later, Meta Knight and Tuff notice King Dedede and Escargoon entering the house, realizing that Nightmare is behind this, and they finally enter the creepy building.

While in the house, Kirby and Tiff encounter monster's sent out by Nightmare Enterprises. Dedede mistakes Escargoon for a ghost in the shower and attacks him similar to Norman Bates from Psycho.

Dedede sees the Holy Nightmare salesman on a TV screen in a bone filled dungeon, and tells him that he plans on teleporting Kirby to Holy Nightmare, and wants Dedede to lure Kirby by wearing bloody chains around his neck.

Kirby, Meta Knight, Tiff, and Tuff find a camera with a recording which at first seems like Dedede running from something and Escargoon seeing Dedede standing in a corner similar to The Blair Witch Project, but then shows Dedede calling for help. Kirby and his friends get to the dungeon and find a chained up King Dedede, but Meta Knight knows what's going on, and prevents Kirby from saving Dedede. The Holy Nightmare salesman then sends out the demon beast Gabon, a skeleton monster who first appeared as an enemy in Kirby's Dream Land 3. Kirby inhales one of the bones it throws at him, but gives him no copy ability.

Gabon begins throwing bones at Kirby overwhelming him. All hope seems lost, luckily, Meta Knight throws Kirby a torch, Kirby inhales it and becomes Fire Kirby.

Kirby then uses his fire power to burn the monster Gabon, but also burns the entire house down in the process. Kirby, Meta Knight, Tiff and Tuff then escape the burning building to safety, while King Dedede and Escargoon argue over why their scheme failed, although they fall asleep afterwards. Tiff then sees Kirby asleep as well.
