Ghost Kebab

Ghost kebabs (also spelled ghost kabobs) is a Halloween treat originally conceived by Natalie of Katarina's Paperie. It is a healthy alternative to other, more sugary treats.

To make these delicious October treats, you will need the following ingredients and supplies:

  • Marshmallows
  • Strawberries
  • Melon (cut into cubes)
  • Kebab Skewers
  • Food coloring marker

Cooking instructions[]

You can prepare your shrunken apple heads ahead of time before display. You can refrigerate them in an airtight container lined with paper towels for upwards of 24 hours.

  1. Take the marshmallows and use some black food coloring marker to draw a ghost face on one side. This is a fun task to give to your children! Let marshmallows dry for a few minutes.
  2. Wash and then cut your fruit into bite-sized pieces. Alternate fruit and stab them onto the skewers: Use a strawberry, a slice of melon, and then a ghost marshmallow. Repeat until you reach the end of the skewer.
