Hades is a fictional character and the main antagonist of the 1997 Disney animated movie Hercules. The character is based on the God of the underworld from Greek mythology. In the film, Hades wants to overthrow Zeus and rule Olympus. Only Hercules can foil his plan. In the 2002 Halloween special Mickey's House of Villains, Hades is one of the villains who joins Jafar to take over the House of Mouse. This costume based on Hades includes a blue shirt and a black robe. To have Hades' blue fire hair, a blue wig is required. Optionally, people who dress as Hades may also want to paint their face blue since Hades has blue skin in the movie.
