Plot[]
40 years after the events of the original, Laurie Strode plans to kill Michael Myers once and for all, after Michael escapes from Smith's Grove once again. Laurie's family, her daughter Karen and her granddaughter Allyson don't believe her, especially since Laurie has traumatized Karen about Michael so much as a kid that Child Protective Services took Karen away when she was 12. To their horror, Michael does arrive and kills many people, including Allyson's friends Vicky, Dave, and Oscar. The police find Allyson and Michael, but the cop is killed by Dr. Sartain, whose obsession with Michael has gone too far to the point where he becomes him. Michael eventually kills Sartain by stomping on his head, Allyson escapes, and is reunited with Karen and Laurie. The final confrontation with Michael was hard but terrifying, but Laurie traps Michael in the basement, then sets the house on fire. Laurie, Karen, and Allyson then leave for safety. Michael is still alive though, because during the end credits, Michael can be heard breathing.
Trivia[]
- Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strode after 16 years.
- In this film, Laurie and Michael are not siblings. This is due to John Carpenter regretting making them siblings, as he finds Michael having no reason for pursuing Laurie scarier.
