Monsters in my Pocket: The Big Scream is an animated television special based on the toy line of the same name by Matchbox. It originally aired on ABC on October 31, 1992. It was originally intended to be both the pilot and first episode of an animated series that never got off the ground.

Plot[]

Vampire creates a potion that shrinks all of Monster Mountain, a prison guarded by the good monsters, and the shrunken mountain gets blown to Los Angeles, where Carrie Raven, daughter of famous horror writer Edgar Raven, finds them. The evil monsters then learn that they can grow with the sound of a scream, and the good monsters learn that they can grow at the sound of laughter.
