Puppet Master 5: The Final Chapter (Or simply Puppet Master 5) is a 1994 horror movie. It is the fifth movie in the Puppet Master franchise and is a sequel to Puppet Master 4. The film was intended to be the final movie of the franchise, but more sequels soon followed years later.
Plot[]
At a local police station in Bodega Bay, California, Rick Meyers is being questioned by the police for the murder of Dr. Baker and Dr. Piper. Rick tells the police about the puppets, but they don't believe him. A man named Dr. Jennings is interested in Rick's story about the puppets. Rick's girlfriend Suzie picks him up from the station and go home. It's also revealed that Lauren is in a coma at a local hospital.
In the underworld, the demon Sutekh wants revenge on the puppets and Rick. Sutekh then takes possession of a fourth Totem doll and uses it to enter the land of the living to enact his revenge. Later that night, Rick has a nightmare about Suzie being killed by the puppets. After waking up, he sees Blade the puppet who has followed Rick home at his bedside. Rick tells Blade that the two of them will return to the Bodega Bay Inn to pick up the other puppets.
At the Bodega Bay Inn, Dr. Jennigs and his three goons Tom, Jason and Scott arrive in order to take the puppets for Jennings own experiments. Sutekh is at the Inn as well, and he murders Tom and Jason by slashing at them with his claws. Scott finds Pinhead and tries to hit him with a rolling pin, but Pinhead is saved by Jester by hitting Scott's crotch with a hammer. Rick and Blade arrive at the Inn to find the puppets but is encountered by Jennings who tells Rick that his goons have been killed. Rick realizes what's going on and goes to get Decapatron. Suzie while visiting Lauren witnesses her friend having a vision of Sutekh. Suzie then heads off to the Inn as well.
Rick and Blade find Pinhead, Jester, Tunneler, Torch and Six-Shooter and Rick tells them that Sutekh is in the hotel, so the other puppets decide to fight back. After Dr. Jennings flees from Sutekh, Torch and Six-Shooter try to fight Sutekh, but Torch's flamethrower doesn't work on the demon, but Six-Shooter shoots him away, but it doesn't kill him. Later, Scott is murdered by Sutekh as well. At the attic, Rick and Suzie find Decapatron and use a computer to bring him to life. They successfully do so with the help of Lauren who communicated with Rick telepathically using the computer. Andre Toulon appears and tells Rick to leave the Inn and let him and the puppets deal with Sutekh.
While taking the elevator to the lobby, Dr. Jennings attacks Rick and knocks him out cold. Jennings then pushes Suzie out of the elevator and goes back to the attic. Dr. Jennings tries to take the puppets for himself, but the puppets know what Jennings has done. Dr. Jennings is then burnt alive by Torch, killing him. When Rick wakes up, Sutekh chases after him and Suzie. The puppets intervene and Rick and Suzie escape.
Blade, Pinhead, Jester, Tunneler, Torch, Six-Shooter and Decapatron then battle Sutekh. Blade slashes at Sutekh, seemingly killing him, however Jester warns Blade that the demon is still alive and Six-Shooter shoots at Sutekh saving Blade. Decapatron shocks the demon, and this causes Sutekh to weaken. Knowing he cannot win, Sutekh creates a portal back to the underworld and tries to escape, however, Decapatron uses his electric powers to shock the portal itself, eventually causing the portal to explode. Sutekh is caught in the explosion and is killed once and for all. Rick appears and steps on Sutekh's charred remains.
Sometime later, Rick and Suzie has taken the puppets home. When Suzie comes back home after going for a jog, she checks on Rick who is with Blade and Pinhead. The three of them are repairing Decapatron after receiving damage while dealing the final blow to the portal. Andre Toulon appears once again and thanks Rick for what he has done.
