Queen of the Damned is a 2002 vampire horror film, based on the novels The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Damned by Anne Rice.


The vampire Lestat awakens in the year 2002 after sleeping since 1788, when he awakens, he becomes the lead singer of a rock band, but in the lyrics of his songs, he's giving away secrets of vampire existence, and this makes other vampires want to kill him.

Meanwhile, the evil vampire queen Akasha is freed after she steals her kings power, and she wants Lestat to be her new king, so she can create world domination.


  • Whenever Lestat sings, his actor Stuart Townsend is lipsinking, the songs are actually being sung by Jonathan Davis, the lead singer of the band Korn.
