Scary Godmother: The Revenge of Jimmy is a 2005 computer-animated comedy film and the sequel to Scary Godmother: Halloween Spooktakular (2003). It is based on Jill Thompson's second book in her Scary Godmother series, also named The Revenge of Jimmy. Britt McKillip, Tabitha St. Germain, Brittney Irvin, Garry Chalk, and Scott McNeil reprise their roles, while Richard Warke, Dexter Bell, and Nathan Tipple replace voice actors of characters from the first special.
Despite taking place after the events of Halloween Spooktakular, the character of Jimmy sounds younger than in the first special, due to Alexander Ludwig voicing him in place of Alex Doduk.
Plot[]
Jimmy is traumatized after being scared away last Halloween by monsters. Katie, Bert and Daryl come over to Jimmy's house to see if Jimmy wants to join them and Hannah Marie to pick a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch the next day. The three are now friends with Hannah. Jimmy says he doesn't want to get a pumpkin, instead wanting to boycott Halloween in order to keep the monsters away. Katie, Bert and Daryl don't believe that those were really monsters but instead big kids trying to scare them, so they don't want to join Jimmy's plan to boycott their favorite holiday.
Meanwhile Bug-a-Boo visits Hannah, who is decorating for Halloween but is out of cobwebs. Bug-a-Boo suggest that Hannah should visit Scary Godmother for more webs. Hannah uses the key she got from Scary Godmother last Halloween and arrives at her house. Scary Godmother and Skully Pettibone the skeleton are making their Halloween preparations as well, but Scary has time for Hannah and makes webs for her. Max, Ruby and Orson the vampire family visit too and show Hannah Orson's Halloween costume, a prince of the night which Orson doesn't really want to be. After Scary's ghost cat Boozle vomits a scare-ball on the calendar, Hannah comments on how big Halloween is on it.
Hannah calls Jimmy on Scary Godmothers skullphone, where Jimmy declines on wanting to get pumpkins. Hannah tells Jimmy that they can't have Halloween without pumpkins, and this gets Jimmy the idea to try to stop Halloween from coming, similar to how the Grinch tries to stop Christmas from coming. Each time Jimmy ruins a Halloween tradition and causes the fright side to disappear, Hannah uses her imagination and love for Halloween to say it's not ruined at all, causing the fright side to reappear. First Jimmy smashes all the pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, but Hannah says the mouth was already carved for them. Then he tries to vandalize all the costumes and candy at the store, but Hannah suggest that they make their costumes and treats instead. Finally, Jimmy throws toilet paper all over the spook house where Hannah is holding a Halloween party, but Hannah imagines that the toilet paper all over the house and trees are ghosts. The four children arrive at the spookhouse wearing the costumes they all had worn the previous year, and Hannah uses the skeleton key to enter the fright side.
At the Halloween party, Hannah, Katie, Bert, Daryl, Scary Godmother, Skully, Max, Ruby, Orson and Harry the werewolf dance to spooky music. A costume contest is being held with a piñata full of candy being the grand prize. Hannah convinces Orson's parents that he should wear any costume he wants during Halloween, so Orson wears a cowboy costume. Jimmy, who snuck into the spook house and entered the fright side, steals the piñata, which caches the attention of Harry who tries to snatch it from him. Bug-a-Boo arrives and is frightened by Jimmy's devil costume, this causes Scary Godmother to declare Jimmy the winner of the costume contest. Knowing that he scared Bug-a-Boo, Jimmy no longer hates Halloween, and Hannah helps Jimmy smash the piñata. Hannah, Jimmy and the monsters enjoy the rest of the Halloween party.
Harry, who narrated the movie, tries to get viewers to send him candy, but Scary Godmother and Skully drag him out of the studio angerly. Scary Godmother apologizes to the audience and thank them for watching.
