Terrifier 2 is a 2022 horror movie directed by Damien Leone. it is the sequel to Terrifier which was released in 2016. The movie was released in theaters on October 6, 2022, and was a box office success despite being in theaters for only two weeks. Unlike the first film which did have a cult following but wasn't received well by critics, Terrifier 2 was better received by critics and audiences alike. A third movie titled Terrifier 3 is planned for release on October 11, 2024.
Plot[]
Picking up after the events of the first film, the evil serial killer in a clown costume known as Art the Clown is brought back to life after committing suicide and murders the medical examiner. Art steals money and leaves to wash his blood stained costume at a local laundromat, while there, Art meets a demonic entity known as the little pale girl and the two play patty-cake together. Once his clothes are done, he departs the laundromat before killing a man there.
One year later in Miles County, a teenage girl named Sienna is making an angel costume for Halloween. Her younger brother Jonathan wants to wear a costume of Art the Clown which both Sienna and their mother Barbara find inappropriate. That night Sienna has a nightmare about being at a place called the Clown Cafe, where Art shoots people with a machine gun and burns everything. The fire from her dream somehow enters the real world after Sienna uses a magical sword to deflect Arts flames and catches her angel wings on fire which her mother extinguishes. The sword was given to her from her father who passed away as a gift.
The next day at school, Jonathan sees Art and the little pale girl playing with the corpse of a possum, Jonathan is then blamed for bringing the dead animal on campus. At Sienna's school, she is informed by her friends Allie and Brooke about a talk show host named Monica Brown being attacked by the survivor of Art's first massacre Victoria, who had her face eaten by Art. This freaks Sienna out. After school, Jonathan shows Sienna a journal which belonged to their father. The journal is filled with sketches of Arts past victims and a sketch of an angel holding the decapitated head of a demon that resembles the killer clown.

Sienna and Allie go to a Halloween store to buy a new pair of wings. While there she encounters Art the Clown creepily staring at her. Art tries on a pair of sunflower-glasses and honks a horn at Sienna. She purchases her wings then she and Allie leave the store. Art then kills the Halloween stores cashier by decapitating him. Sienna tells Allie that she believes that really was Art, but Allie tells her that it was most likely a guy dressed as him since it's Halloween. Later when kids start going trick-or-treating, Allie hands out candy for them. Art shows up wanting candy, but Allie doesn't give him any due to him being an adult. She finally does but notices weapons in the trash bag he carries.
Once night falls, Allie hears a noise coming from downstairs and see's Art in the kitchen having a drink of water. Art then chases Allie to her room and maims her, Art slashes Allie's eye, cuts her scalp off revealing her brain, cuts open her back and rips her arm off. Art leaves the room, only to return to cover her flesh wounds with bleach and salt then rips the left side of her face off revealing her skull. When Allies mom returns home, she finds Art with Allies mutilated body and calls for her mom before she takes her final breath. Back at Sienna and Jonathan's house, she shows her mom her finished angel costume. Barbara doesn't like how revealing it is. Sienna than leaves with Brooke to go to a Halloween party. At Allies house, Art hands out candy for trick-or-treaters, placing the candy in Allies mother's decapitated head which the kids assume is a candy bowl made to resemble a head.
Sienna, Brooke and her boyfriend Jeff have fun at the Halloween party. Meanwhile Jonathan has an argument with his mom and runs away. Barbara later sees her car covered in shaving cream, toilet paper, eggs and smashed pumpkins as well as profanity written on the car windshield. She assumes Jonathan did it and begins cleaning her car, only to find Art inside where he shoots her in the face with a shotgun. When Jonathan returns home, he sees his mother's corpse sitting at the dining room table. Art and the little pale girl kidnap Jonathan and steal Sienna's sword.
After the Halloween party, Sienna, Brooke and Jeff attempt to drive Sienna home. Sienna gets a phone call from Jonathan telling her that he's at an abandoned carnival. What she doesn't know is that the little pale girl is the one calling her mimicking Jonathan's voice. When they arrive at the carnival, Sienna gets out of the car to look for Jonthan while Brooke and Jeff stay behind to do drugs, Jeff exits the car to pee, but Art arrives and stabs Jeff in his groin and rips off his private parts. Brooke runs for her life in terror and enters a haunted house attraction at the carnival called The Terrifier. Brooke is caught in a dead end and pleads with Art not to come near her, so he splashes Brooke's face with acid and brutally beats her with an armchair covered in nails, forks and blades. Art then rips out her heart and eats it.
Going deeper into the haunted house, Sienna is knocked unconscious by Art. She later awakens and sees Art attacking Jonathan with the cat o' nine tails. Sienna kills Art several times but is resurrected each time. In a horror-themed cathedral of the haunted house, Art knocks out Jonathan and stabs Sienna with the sword and pushes her in a pit that resembles Hell from the short film The 9th Circle. Sienna wakes up in a water tortured cell at the Clown Cafe where she drowns. Art then begins eating the flesh from Jonathan's arm, causing him to panic in fear at the sight of this horrifying situation, Art then starts eating flesh from Jonathan's leg. Sienna is then revived by the magic of the sword and saves Jonathan by slashing Art's throat with the sword. Knowing he can't escape, Art the Clown smiles at Sienna and lets her hit his neck until she decapitates him. With Art the Clown dead, Sienna runs to Jonathan who is thankfully alive. The little pale girl takes Art's head and leaves with it while her eyes glow yellow. The two siblings hug and Sienna tells Jonathan that they'll be okay.
In a post-credit scene, Victoria is sitting in a psychiatric ward, where she writes profanity and a heart that says, "Vicky + Art" in her own blood on the wall. A nurse enters her room and is horrified to see that Victoria has given birth to Art's head which is alive and moves his mouth. As the nurse screams in horror, Victoria laughs maniacally while her eye has the same yellow glow the little pale girl had.
