The Return of the Living Dead is a 1985 zombie movie, and a Living Dead spin-off, although Night of the Living Dead exists as a movie in this film.
Plot[]
After creating a biochemical rain, the rain re-animates the dead, and zombies have risen from their graves in order to eat brains.
The humans try to fight back against the zombies but are overwhelmed by how many of them there are. Shooting them and chopping them doesn't work, only burning them until there's nothing left completely stops them, but there's too many zombies.
In the end, the humans find a phone number on the container where the bio chemicals were stored, and the military blows up the whole town, killing both the humans and the zombies.
Unfortunately, the explosion causes another biochemical rain, and more zombies are re-animated. They arise and begin their brain eating spree all over again.
