Sabrina the Teenage Witch, sometimes referred to as Sabrina and the Groovie Goolies, or The Sabrina Comedy Hour, or promotionally referred to as The Sabrina the Teenage Witch Show or The Sabrina Comedy Show is an American animated TV series. It is a spin-off of The Archie Show and based on the comic book series of the same name. The show aired on CBS, or in syndication, between September 14, 1970 and August 31, 1974. It ran for one season, with 31 episodes.


The series follows the title character, Sabrina, a teenage witch who likes to hang out and fight enemies with her magical powers. However, she has to keep her life as a witch a secret from her friends at Riverdale High. Every episode begins with an opening strapline, explaining to the viewers Sabrina's origin, which was due to a mishap between her two aunts, Hilda and Zelda.
