"Ghost Train" (re-titled "Percy's Ghostly Trick" for broadcast in North America) is an episode of the British animated TV series Thomas and Friends, based on the Railway Series books by Rev. W. Awdry, which makes suitable viewing for Halloween. The episode first aired on the ITV network in the United Kingdom on December 10, 1986.

Plot

Percy tells Thomas and Toby of a ghost train said to be warning others of danger on Thomas' Branch Line, but Thomas is dismissive. When Percy later crashes into a load of lime stuck on a crossing he becomes as white as a sheet and has the idea to pretend to be a ghost to pay back Thomas for calling him silly. With some help from Toby, Percy scares Thomas into leaving the shed. Thomas tries to cover up his mistake the next morning, but still runs when he hears Percy's whistle.
