The Tom and Jerry Halloween Special is an animated/live action television special that originally aired on TBS on Friday, October 16, 1987 and was rerun for five years until 1992. It was a spin-off of a programming block entitled Tom and Jerry's Funhouse on TBS. The live action segments between the animated cartoons were filmed inside Rhodes Hall, aka The Haunted Castle, and were hosted by Josh Jarboe and Audra Lee, who dressed in various Halloween costumes and were both former hosts of Kid's Beat on TBS. They would tell Halloween related jokes, scare each other, give trick-or-treating safety tips, and tell stories all related to the history of Halloween.
