Zombieland: Double Tap is a 2019 horror comedy movie and the sequel to Zombieland. The movie's title is a pun on how the characters must double tap to make sure the zombie they kill is dead.
The movie was released 10 years after the first film, and it has been 10 years in the movie's continuity as well. Evidence of this is the original cast returning, including Abigail Breslin who plays Little Rock, who was 13 in the first film and is 23 in the sequel.
Plot[]
Over the years, the zombies have evolved. There are Homer zombies, named after Homer Simpson, because they are dimwitted, Hawking zombies, named after Stephen Hawking because of their intelligence, Ninja Zombies, named after ninjas due to how sneaky they are, and the deadliest, the T800 zombies, named after the Terminator due to them being extremely hard to kill.
Columbus wants to marry Wichita, but the thought scares her at first. Little Rock then runs off with a hippie, much to everyone's worry. The gang then goes on a journey to get her back in fear that she can't defend herself from the zombies if she's with the peace-making people. On the way, they meet many people, including a dumb blonde named Madison, and a zombie killing woman named Nevada, who Tallahassee becomes very fond of.
In the end, they find Little Rock and battle a zombie horde. They almost lose the fight, but with the help of their new friends, they manage to escape another zombie feeding frenzy.
